How OnePic.AI works
OnePic.AI is a general-purpose image editor. Users upload images they own and use our AI to remove watermarks, change backgrounds, and upscale. We do not select or curate content; we do not host a public gallery; outputs are delivered to the uploader only.
Your responsibility as a user
Before each upload, you must affirmatively confirm:
“I own this image or have legal right to modify it.”
We log your IP, timestamp, and the consent text. Submitting a false confirmation is a breach of our Terms and may expose you to legal liability to the rightful copyright holder.
School photos and watermarked proofs
US copyright law assigns copyright to the photographer (or studio) by default. The fact that the image depicts you, your child, or a school event does not transfer copyright. Whether you may legally remove a watermark from a yearbook proof, graduation photo, or sports photo depends on:
- The license terms you agreed to when ordering;
- Whether you purchased a digital download with a personal-use license;
- Fair-use considerations applicable in your jurisdiction.
OnePic.AI is not a law firm. If you are uncertain, consult an attorney before processing the photo.
DMCA takedown procedure
If you believe content is being processed through OnePic.AI in violation of your copyright, send a notice that includes:
- A signature (electronic is fine) of an authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- A description of where the infringing material is located.
- Your contact information.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate.
Send to dmca@onepic.ai. We respond to valid notices within 48 hours. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was improperly removed, you may submit a DMCA counter-notice to the same address.
